Purpose
Small-group travel brand for women travelling solo – starting with a flagship Cape Town + Garden Route trip in November 2027.
Who it is for
Women considering their first small-group travel, and returning members who want a curated single-host operator rather than a marketplace or a big-group tour.
Stack
- Frontend: Next.js 16.2.7 (App Router) + React 19.2.4 + Tailwind v4
- Motion: Framer Motion 12.42 (scroll-driven hero clip-path reveal,
useReducedMotionhonoured) - Maps: react-leaflet 5 + Leaflet 1.9.4 (CARTO light tile layer; custom sage-coloured pin icons with day numbers in Playfair serif)
- Data: hard-coded typed content in
src/app/lib/trip.ts(no CMS) - Analytics: Vercel Web Analytics only
- Testing: Playwright QA at 320 / 360 / 390 / 1440 widths for HTTP 200 + zero horizontal overflow

Outcome
Live at faraway.no within a week of the split. Flagship trip real and bookable (49,500 NOK single, 44,000 NOK shared, 10 seats, 7-seat minimum). Zero horizontal overflow at any tested viewport, enforced every push. 27 commits over six days of active polish.
