Category: Infra / platform Status: Live, extremely active (weekly deploys) Time window: June 2026 → ongoing (20+ production deploys over the last quarter) Live URL: demo.stratas.no

Purpose

A single Next.js app hosting per-prospect guided-triage demos – one route per demo, all noindex, each self-contained so no cross-demo imports can drift. The template that makes "day-one client demo" possible.

Who it is for

Stratas' sales function during prospect meetings, and prospects themselves during a follow-up review.

Stack

  • Frontend: Next.js 16 (App Router, Turbopack) + React 19 + TypeScript + Tailwind
  • Routing: /t/<token> tracking redirects (per-prospect attribution)
  • Analytics: Vercel Web Analytics
  • Data: minimal – each demo is largely self-contained

My contribution

Translated prospect problems into interactive product concepts, designed the demo platform and delivery pattern, and built and deployed the experiences. Developed client-specific workflows, tested the calculation engines, and carried validated concepts into standalone products.

Notable capabilities

  • Guided-triage demos (Dan-McCormick-style product shells) with 3-product selectors
  • Client-specific theming via brand tokens + logo swaps + domain-data replacement
  • Complex value-calculation engines (cost models, time horizons, break-even) with 30+ unit tests
  • Configurator → PDF export flows per demo
  • Multi-quote history with win-rate analytics and project-load heatmaps
  • Bilingual (Norwegian / English) copy at scale
  • Responsive from 360px (iPhone notch safe areas honoured)

Outcome

20+ production deploys per quarter. The fabrication quoting engine spun out of Demo Hub on 2026-08-10 into its own repo when the demo turned into a live client product. Faraway spun out on 2026-08-04 into a standalone .no site. Demo Hub is where "would this pattern work?" gets tested and where "yes" becomes its own repo.

Evidence

  • Live: demo.stratas.no
  • Repo: private
  • Pattern: one route = one demo, no cross-imports, all noindex
